Roller Rules

Health & Safety Notice to Skaters

• 1. Socks must be worn when wearing hire skates
• 2. Skaters who are NOT wearing a roller wristband will be asked to remove their skates
• 3. NO FOOD or DRINKS to be taken on to the skating rink
• 4. NO SPECTATORS are allowed on the skating rink please use the viewing areas provided
• 5. Please skate in an anti-clockwise direction, unless otherwise instructed by the skate marshals
• 6. NO horseplay or disruptive behaviour
• 7. Skate within your own ability
• 8. Skaters who are too intoxicated to skate within their own ability will be asked to remove their skates
• 9. Please listen to the skate marshals, they are there for your safety!

Disclaimer Notice to Skaters

Rollerstrut LLP highly recommends the use of personal protective equipment during skating activity. This is available to hire free of charge at the skate hire desk. Wearing protective equipment will greatly reduce the chance of injury due to a fall / collision. Rollerstrut LLP accepts no responsibility for injury caused by a fall / collision which would have otherwise not occurred if protective equipment had been worn.

Persons using their own skates and equipment are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of such, and Rollerstrut LLP and Nottingham Trent Students Union cannot be held responsible for any accidents, damage or injury caused by such skates and equipment to yourself, a third party or property of Rollerstrut LLP and Nottingham Trent Students Union.

Rollerstrut LLP and Nottingham Trent Students Union reserve the right to refuse admission and to remove persons from the venue for any reason including behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance, or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of Rollerstrut LLP, Nottingham Trent Students Union or their representatives staffing the Event.

People skating at this venue do so entirely at their own risk and Rollerstrut LLP and Nottingham Trent Students Union can not be held responsible for any accidents caused by in house structures, objects, or by actions of other skaters.

Rollerstrut LLP and Nottingham Trent Students Union are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage, howsoever caused, to yourself or third party, your property or clothing, and by signing this disclaimer you agree to waive all your rights to pursue any form of claim of compensation against Rollerstrut LLP or Nottingham Trent Students Union unless such loss, injury or damage is caused by the negligence of Rollerstrut LLP or Nottingham Trent Students Union, their employees or agents.
